Dusty ripe notes with raspberries cherries and plenty of oak just matching the massive fruit flavours which you would expect at 15.5% Alc. A Big wine with softening tannins and low acid. Right to drink now. Enjoyable! 2008 vintage. Always thought McLaren Vale Grenache better than the Barossa but this is excellent.

Straight out of the bottle was not a good time. Decanted, left it overnight, poured it back into the bottle, took it to a mates place. Delicious - air this bad boy

A really great Grenache from Barossa, more full bodied than you would expect but plenty of spice, jam and fruit flavour. High alcohol but doesn’t overpower the wine. Enjoying the wines from this producer.

Utterly splendid expression of old vine Grenache. Black fruit and tobacco on the nose. Red fruit and star anise with hints of spice. Medium finish, with subtle amount of acidity.

Paul tasting: too much alcohol for me which hide the quality of the wine.unusual 100% grenache, with a sweet chocolaty finish.

Stewed blueberries, plums, tomato, tomato leaf, sweet tobacco, cedar, eucalyptus, earth. Smooth, rich texture. Medium tannins and acidity. Very well balanced. Really beautiful vintage.
