Inky violet with translucent purple rim. Medium nose needs 1/2 hour to open to blackberry, black plum, black cherry, cassis, cinnamon, clove, red fruits, tobacco, and vanilla. Medium acid to the palate is hot and dry with bitter dark chocolate, black fruit and black pepper. Medium soft tannins still with edge for long dry finish of bitter cocoa and pepper. Good structure and balance makes for great red meat buddy but slight bitterness not for all sippers. Very good value at $10.98 USD.

Earthy smelling and very bold hit on the palette. Earthy taste and somewhat acidic. Needs food for best effect. 80% Malbec 12% bonarda 8% petit Verdot.
