The 2002 is a GSM with a touch of Viognier. Dark fruits, tobacco and licorice on the nose. The palate is lovely with boysenberry, blackberry, plum and some glycerine on the palate. Surprisingly good (to me) for a 13 year old Aussie wine. I'm impressed.

As similar to the Rhone style as you can get in another climate and soil structure. I liked the ripe style southern Rhone fruits and a similar type earthiness.
