Dark Ruby in color with a brick rim.

Big fruity nose of blackberries, cherries, currants, licorice, vanilla, oak, cloves, saffron and black pepper.

Medium bodied, smooth and elegant with nice acidity and nice legs.

Fruit on the palate with vanilla, toasted oak, cherries, figs, blackberries, blueberries, dirt, licorice, cloves and peppercorn.

Long finish with round tannins and black pepper.

This Israeli Reserve, is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Petit Verdot and 6% Barbera.

I really liked the addition of the Petit Verdot, which gave it a beautiful nose and added lots of complexity.
I would have liked it to be a bit bolder, but this is, still, a nice, elegant blend with ample complexity and a spicy mouthfeel.
Grapes are from the Galilee appellation, in Israel. Fermented in large clay jugs. Aged for 26 months in French oak barrels.

15% alcohol by volume.
