I love Washington state reds, and knowing the ratings I expected something a little more refined. This is a good wine, but it's very one dimensional. Jammy, dense, plum notes. Sometimes you're in the mood for something that lacks subtlety. In those instances this fits the bill.

Very rich and balanced. Intense Strawberry and Raspberry flavors with a hint of black licorice. A bit high in alcohol but not terribly noticeable. I am not usually a pure Merlot fan, but I like this one!

Aromas on the nose and follows through to your palate. Rich and velvety baked berries and anise with hints of cedar.
