For this type of "paso blend" it's damn good. 80% syrah/grenache and the rest cab and petite sirah. It's a crowd pleaser, big on the fruit and soft on the tannins. Not in a weak way though, it's still a well made wine just not one for the ages. Drink now.

Leather and dark fruit scents give way to a complex mouthfeel that leads to plums, kitchen spice, and a slight tremor of tobacco. Medium body, tight tannin. A great dining wine...you can't go wrong.

If only Justin winery was a conscientious company. Nonetheless, it's wines are fantastic. This 2012 is 70% Syrah, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% petite sirah. A wonderful balance! Comes in at 15% alcohol.
