Gets even better as it opens up. Very nice on this mild DC summer evening.

Not sure what happened but this wine got deleted from my profile. Quite nice, popped and poured. Had a nice herbal not a little grassy, with nice pretty rounded tannins. Great wine for the price.

Fir as popular as this is I understand why. The nose is sweetly oaked, vanilla and red plums and anise figuratively explode from the bowl. The palate is oak heavy, which I don't particularly care for, but I can't deny this is a really delicious bottle of wine.

2012 vintage. Very very good. Quite a bit of fruit. Retested 9/26, and finding it awesome again. One of my all time favorites in the sub $30 range.
