I kept waiting for something to happen here, but it never did. A fine wine, to be sure, however I expected more from this brand and vintage. Thinner and sweeter than anticipated, good balance. I enjoyed this wine with my steak fondue!

Elegant, spice, red fruits, soft integrated tannins. Drinking great now!

(0.375 L). Very complex, bold and slightly earthy in the beginning. More jam as it opens up, but a stronger year; very thick (look at the cork) so let it open up. Amazing 30 min+ later. ---- incredible 1 hour later, wow.
Great now but can drink up to 5 years from now.

Excellent even out if the bottle; better I imagine if decanted for an hour or so. Had it with a flatiron with bone marrow and a rosemary butter sauce. Stellar, chocolately, nice tannins. Better still in a few years, I imagine.
