Wow. This is any other growerโ€™s Santenay. Roasted pit fruits, sous-bois. Marked by typical 2015 density. $22, but twice the value.

Ahhhhh. I paid 10 dollars USD. It is not a bad wine by any means, it was very acidic and tart and young; waaay to young. Perhaps another 8 months to a year in French oak and another six months in bottle may change the character. But hey 10 bucks.

Not a huge fan of the acidity and post-drink mouth feel.

With a woody taste in background this wine is perfect for meaty food. With a light acidic taste with a bold background flavor of cherry.
