It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a great Napa Cabernet.

Dark inky in color with a short reddish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, black currants, licorice, cedar, vegetables, vanilla, bell pepper, earth, dark chocolates, coffee and black pepper.

Full bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and very fruity on the palate, with blackberries, black currants, stewed cherries, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, chocolates, cola, tobacco, spices, peppercorn, coffee, light vegetables and herbs.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Cabernet from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with great balance. Tangy and spicy.

Still young and would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. It would probably be much better.

Not too high in alcohol for this Napa style, which is nice to see. Juicy, rich and fruit forward.

Good by itself, and will be a perfect fit for a big piece of steak. I paired it with a cheese plate.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

14% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$65.
