Judge Palmer
Entre Deux Sauvignon Blanc

For starters, completely different than the 2013. Golden yellow with medium plus viscosity. Definitely has some oak influence, notes of cat wee, burnt caramel, and burnt rubber. Really close to an orange wine. As it opens up there are some additional notes of candied apples, and more burnt characteristics. Medium plus bodied with moderate acidity (6/10) and even some tannins (6/10). Finish lingers and does not want to subside. Beautiful mouthfeel and warm texture, with some dark citrus notes, roasted nuts and golden apples. Very impressed with what Michael and Palmer are doing in Sonoma, cannot wait to try more of their wines. Drink till 2023. This will only develop deeper and more complex characteristics with age. Will update this note on day two.

Here come the judge. The courts in session. Mineral, some citrusy acid. Color of straw. Light nose.

Sauvignon Blanc is what it is. Delectable sleeping. Citrus, Rosemary, parsley sage and thyme. Love you all. Keep drinking. 2018 is here. Life fleeting. Take nothing for granted. God Bless
