Decanted it for a bit.Tropical flavors, caramel, vanilla, popcorn.

Gorgeous chard. Drinks like a Montrachet meets Charlemagne burg. Spent 30 months in new oak yet the oak is subtle and takes a back seat to the minerality and mouth watering acidity on the finish. Pineapple, lemon zest, pear and lightly toasted marshmallow on the long and cheek puckering finish. Too bad only 30 cases made.

May 12th, 2016Wonderful bouquet, so well balanced. Beautiful butterscotch finish. Refined and polished. Joe and Pat have done a marvelous job! IMO, one of the better Chards out there from Napa.
