Nose is a tad vegetal. A hint of black pepper. An hour in less vegetal. More Smokey. Still not in love.
Palate is so deliciously grippy. Perfect early season cherries. So fresh and crisp. Just a wonderful wine to drink.
I’d give this a 9.4 if the nose were better. It’s a masterful bit of winemaking.

Mildly corked so let me write a note. After 45 minutes very elegant fruit. Good palate coat. On a par with good 1er cru burgundy. Some alpine hints.
