Joshua Cooper
The Springs Heathcote Syrah
Unusually high VA for the producer, so I reckon this wasn’t the best sample. Nice whole bunch aromatics and bright acidity though. Savoury. To revisit.

Jun 12th, 2023Ruby core with a garnet/brick rim. Intense aromas of black olives, burnt rubber, asphalt, violets and mint. Black olive tapenade for days on the palate with additional notes of balsamic vinegar, blueberry and tobacco. Loaded with VA. Pleasant oily (animal fat) texture. Extremely long finish. Medium in body but high in intensity! Only 12% ABV. Totally unique and delicious! Thank you so much for sharing, Kase!

Apr 21st, 2024Love this. Tobacco, wild mint, tomato vine and cured meat jumping out of the glass. Almost feels like there's animal fat in the bottle - texturally and aromatically speaking
