Hello my friends and fellow wine lovers! The wine tonight is: Joseph Phelps cabernet sauvignon 2019. Black pepper and blackberry pie fresh out if the oven on the nose. At 14.5% abv, the palate begins with a thick rich dark berry and vanilla explosion. Then comes the black pepper, spice and everything nice. There is oak, a hint of cedar, cigar box, and graphite. Wow!!!! This is followed by an amazing hint of dark chocolate and mor graphite. This is a very mineral rich wine.  The finish is so dry my tongue and lips won’t open.  I have to have another sip immediately.!!!! This is by far the best wine I’ve had this year!!
