Not typically a chard fan, but the burgundy terroir is hard to beat. Tomato leaf and key lime profiles. Really??

Had with Christmas lunch. Enjoyed by all. Not at all oaky. If anything quite mineral. Reminded me a little of a Chablis!

Dec 28th, 2016Pale straw colour with greenish hues. Faint hedgerow bouquet, perhaps a hint of pear. Some pear and butter on the palate but quite dilute, with a little acid giving it some life and perhaps a slight metallic tinge to the aftertaste. Pleasant enough and reasonably refreshing but nothing special.
