2017 vintage. Golden color. Rich, tropical nose and medium sweetness. Apricot nectar big time. Also peach, mango, candied pineapple, golden apple, jasmine, pineapple upside down cake. Tasty, but a little more opulence than I was looking for.

Medium gold color, pronounced aroma and flavor intensity with orange, mango, nectarine, honey, honeysuckle, Jasmine, sweet spice, wax, cream, yogurt, vanilla, fig, etc.

Off-dry, medium acid, med(+) alcohol, full body, oily texture. Long finish

Very good wine, concentrated, complex from primary to tertiary notes. Paired with oyster is a good combination.

Can drink now, but has potential for extra 4-5 years aging. Not outstanding due to the slightly high alcohol and a little lack of acidity.

Really great QPR value for Alsace grand cru. Nose is a bit subdued, but on the tongue great pear and peach flavors that are tamed by rich acidity. Normally, I like my simpler white varietals to finish crisp and dry, but the off dry finish adds another layer of complexity to the structure of this wine.
