Pale in colour (in stark contrast to the 2009). Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and PN. Almost no fruit in the nose with chicken broth and vegetable aromas in the forefront. Nice, juicy acidity and quite tannic in the ending. Interesting. A good food wine.

Schiller Berg rosé 2009, Carnuntum.
A mix of Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and PN, quite dark in colour with fresh wild strawberries and strawberry aromas. Slightly tannic, the way a pomegranate is. Great balance and brilliantly drinkable. Amazing for an almost 10y rosé!
