Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales
Rojzilla Michigan Sour Biere
Absolutely brilliant. Had this when it was first released. Was not particularly good back then - very disjoint - but figured setting it down for a while might help...and did it ever. Great tartness on the palate with a subtle funk on the nose, this is one of the better JPs I’ve had in a while. Fantastic.

Apr 24th, 2016Much better than this year's one, which probably just needs aging. Lots of esters, glue, and deliciousness

Apr 11th, 2016Jolly pumpkin Rojzilla 2016. Just released. It is disconcerting how happy Jim is about this.

Apr 11th, 2016A limited release, this is without question to best Jolly Pumpkin beer I've ever had. Made from a blend of beer that was aged for 1.5-2 years in large barrels, then blended with some aged in smaller bourbon barrels, this stuff has complexity, depth, and an incredibly balanced finish. Only 3000 L made, so we bought the most we could (6 750mL bottles, plus a growler for tonight). If you are lucky enough to be somewhere with Rojzilla on the beer list, don't ask questions: just buy it!
