Have not had this in about 3 years. Definitely needed to check in. Stunning nose. Sweet spices, bursting red cherry fruit, wet earth, sweet well integrated oak. Stunning aromas. Wow this has turned around. Palate is elegant and complex with tremendous depth. Sweet sappy fruit and a tiny bit of hard yet sweet tannin that needs maybe 1 hour to unfurl. Terrific intensity and freshness. Light yet packed and very complex. This has aged into something beautiful.

Apr 27th, 2017Terrific Grand Cru-like nose. He is trying to make this Grand Cru. This is a special cuvée that only Fass Selections gets. Sick. Slight eucalyptus on the nose, juicy, elegant, and super fine. Great acidity and velvety tannins.
