The nose of this wine needs to be bottled up and sold as an air freshener! Taste damn good too!

Notes of bramble blackberries. Zippy acidity - well balanced. Quaffable.

Incredibly aromatic - Violets, lavender, taught blue fruit. Nice energy.

Aromatic, light on its feet. Got this sweet and sour vibe going on. Like but just a bit jagged at the moment.

More Jolie laide with Jolie. Blueberry pie. Raspberry. Earl grey tea. Light tannins. Fruit so ripe, only 13.2% abv but not life changing wine.

Nose was very much a closed one; had some semblance of fruit, along with a soap-like, seemingly mercaptan note. Such a thin midpalate that didn't offer much, some semblance of bright fruit, covered by a brutally tart note. Utterly inelegant. Thin, weak midpalate that led to intense, overly firm tannin. Seemed that the pH and TA were out of whack. Really incongruent pieces in this puzzle. I don't understand the hype in the wine community over this one. I tried this over the course of three days and time didn't do it any favors. Forty dollars? Come ON. Not everyone is fooled by catchphrases like "co-fermented." I have heard that the white ones are spectacular, so I am looking forward to trying those.
