This is a very noticeably Oaked SB that has a creaminess to it. Key lime merengue, mango and tropical fruit, and quite viscous. Not my thang, but I can see how some people would totally dig it.

Dec 27th, 2016The undercover domestic master of Sauvignon Blanc (in my opinion) is a fellow and friend named Jeff Kandarian. Lieu Dit is up there, but for fans of that barrel fermented Savvy that that winery in NZ does (Craggy?), this one he makes is in the same vein and way more explosive. Check Jeff's own Kandarian Cellars Blue Eye Sauvignon Blanc from Oregon if you've got the time.

Oct 2nd, 2016Is it typical of Sauvignon Blanc? F$&@ no. This is new, quirky, and a quite delicious rendition of Sauv Blanc with its heavy dosage of silky, cotton candiesque oak treatment lending a superb mouthfeel to this wine. Weird, but it will be a fan favorite.
