Pinot I want to drink and drink. Delicate, intensely fragrant, 12.5%, all balanced. Fine and elegant. Great value

2009. Despite my general lack of enthusiasm for the vintage, there are some wines that I really like. This being one of my favorites of 2009.

2009. Beautiful tart red and blue fruit, white pepper, subtle barrel spice, finishing with cranberry and pomegranate.

2010. There was some funk that seemed to come and go, when it was there, especially on the palate, it was distracting. Beneath that funk was beautifully pure fruit. I wish it had shown more of that and less of the funky side of things.

Willamette Strong! All the pleasantly bitter red fruits and black tea you could ask for.

Tons of sour cherry and rustic qualities. Already showing its age.

Mmm I smell the antediluvian savoir faire of Burgundy and taste the volcanic rich essence of the Willamette Valley in this old world style Pinot Noir. Tobacco, cedar, black plum and black cherry, even a slight hint of vanilla infiltrate the nose and gloss over the palate wi th the addition of black pepper and black licorice on the finish. Truly exceptional pinot noir!!!
