Tremendous oak on the nose and the initial taste. Rich cherry flavors. This wine is a perfect example of a leather smell and taste, distinctive so you will taste it, you just not know what it is you're tasting. Excellent long pepper finish, classic for a Zin, yet I'm surprised it's a "California" blend and not a region. Highly recommend.
