Berries and manure. I like it, but the barnyard is strong on this one. On the berry side, there are sweet plums and cherries. In the mouth, it’s a bit more savory and minerally than the nose suggests. Good balance, with smooth soft tannins and decent acids. A bit of bitter balance on the finish. Let’s see what happens with the barnyard tomorrow! For now, 8.7.
