This is a tasty, crowd-pleaser of a rheingau Riesling. Apple, lemon, elder flower, a bit of a creamy thing lurking in the back. The palate is very well made, with a superb balance. It's showing lemon curd, apple juice, some width and focus. There is not much grip and the finish is fresh, appley and lemony and fades away quite quickly. It's extremely well made but lacks a bit of personality and umpf. Still a great summer sipper.
