Probably drank this one just a little too soon, still tighter and more tannic than I would have guessed. But regardless, the deep lingering cherry, cola, and spice notes just go on and on. A very big can and emblematic of how great red mtn fruit is.

The lingering bing cherry and vegetal notes are very pleasant, but somewhat overwhelmed by the heat of the wine. 2005 was a better year I think, but this is perfectly drinkable, especially with a succulent dish like prime rib.
