This wine opens with dusty bramble notes on the nose that transition to strong black cherry, minor tar, and background licorice flavors on the pallet. Cleared the classic tastes of Mexican fare quite well, but frankly is better on its own. A fine wine to sip the summer away with.

Nice punchy cherry sweetness is balanced by a nice long tannic Cabernet finish. Not bad at the price point.
