Pours jam in color. ON THE NOSE: currant, cassis and green olive. ON THE PALATE: black fruit, dust and eucalyptus with some hints of cocoa. this is a big bold merlot - would think it was a Cab except for soft tannins. This is a complex wine with many layers of Flavors. Full bodied and medium finish.

A full bodied Merlot. Rich nose with plenty of dark berries and oak. After a full 65 minute decant it started with a bit of pepperiness which strengthened after another 90 minutes as we finished the bottle. We paired it with a nice sirloin and potatoes with green beans. Very rich and bold.

Notes of cedar, menthol, blackberry. Really well balanced. Great expression of merlot.
