Showing black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, tobacco, tar and peppercorn.
Dry on the palate with medium acidity.
Medium minus on the finish with firm tannins and cherries.
A little harsh still, although it is 6 year old. Might be better in a year or two.
Needs 2 hours to open up properly and show the tannins.
A good food wine that will pair nicely with BBQ Meats.
