The first bottle of Jerome Balmet got me into Natural wine. Held on to a bottle for two years to see what it would do. It ages in a interesting way. A bit of turpentine like a Jura but opened up it some very soft fruit notes that I remembered. If I aged it again I would decant the wine before drinking. Still love Jerome Balmet wines so much.

Would love some more Jerome in my life. Probably let this age for longer than we should have, but reopened as we let it decant.

Jun 14th, 2020Vibrant red fruit, stewed strawberries with fresh plums, skins and all, maybe pomegranate and some jasmine flowers. Delicate texture and a beautiful color, has a very Burgundian feel to it especially in the nose. Really enjoying this.
