Tierra y Libertad Gamay

Love this winemaker. Second wine of his I have tried in the last week. High acidity wine. Fun Loire Valley Gamay. Ripe dark fruit, licorice, slight BenGay and earthy notes. My new wine making hero.

Starts out earthy but opens up to dark fruit and spice. Tannic and heavier bodied, unusual for my idea of a Gamay but extremely satisfying with a ribeye and sweet potatoes with yogurt-mint sauce. Acidic but mellows with food.
