Jen Pfeiffer Rock it Like a Redhead The Rebel North East Riesling

Pale yellow-greenish colour. Lifted with floral and toffee aromas like from summer English garden. Then melon and citrus. Fresh and nice acids and just a little bit sweety palate. Moderately long finish. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

Lemongrass, lemon thyme, touch of tropical fruit. Zing and zest, some pizazz to light up the palate.

This racy number was perfect with a batch of hot wings I made for dinner recently. Hailing from Central Victoria, we picked this up through Naked Wines where it retails for $9-13.

Yellow with a green tinge on the eye. The nose is like a honey, vanilla and pawpaw smoothie. It's dry and crisp on the palate with fruity apple sweetness, refreshing lime and hints of passionfruit. Wonderful vino for around the $10 mark.

Sweet but good red

For someone who is an avid hater of merlot I’m impressed!

Floral, buttery, light and zesty.

Ok for an American Riesling certainly quaffable. Not to sweet but all the flavours of reisling.
