Nose shows black raspberry and kirsch, along with pine needly underbrush. Great mouthcoating attack, with rich dark raspberry extract and a Chateauneuf-like iodiney minerality. Really good length.

Great with Mexican food. I try this wine similarly to a Granacha from South America; kind of jammy but with some age, jam subsides and spices meats come out to reveal a gamer tone.
