Egret Pond Viognier

Rich and concentrated. Best Viognier I've tasted yet from Jemrose.

Cved two months prior. Prominent tropical fruits somewhat stony nose. Firm acidic texture on palate carrying through to finish. Would be tough to match with food but pretty good with Andrew’s pulled pork ‘burger’.

Sunday gem

Popped this one with low expectations - needed a cup of white wine for my risotto and as it turned out, this was a big surprise for us. Golden in color and wafting vanilla aromas from the glass as it warmed up a bit. Almond, honey, a bit of mango on the palate. Great find on LB - didn’t even realize Russell Bevan made this wine! Oh, and the risotto was awesome 👏

Wow this stuff is dry, really dry. Pretty crisp flavours and a nice clean finish though.

Very floral bouquet of apricot and orange. Good acidity, a bit fuller than many Viogniers. Good balance, moderate finish.

Fragrant. Previous bottles seemed to have a harsh edge, but this has smoothed out nicely. #RemembranceForAlecWhite

Ton of body on this viognier. Like a chard

Waxy and not much nose or fruit. Wife dumped her glass after one sip
