A really big baby. Nose of sweet salami and a smokiness to the fruit that makes you think Jeff snuck some syrah in there. Good but needs time to be great.

Deep garnet color. A lovely nose composed of dark cherry, chocolate and hints of lavender. This is a deep, rich wine with some underlying leather on the palate. The tannins have softened somewhat but should bode well for another 5 years. Finish is long and luscious.
