La Petite Robe Jacquère
Ripper acid!! Little bit of brett, not the bandaid, rather the spice and floral component. Lots of texture and layers. 10.5% alc. such a cool wine. Jacquere

Feb 8th, 2017Doesn't keep as well as its bigger brother - the acid was a bit much. Interesting and fun nonetheless.

May 18th, 2016Old vine Jacquere, vin naturel style. 1 week maceration carbonique, 1 year old oak. No fining, no sulphur, no filtration. Lightly reddish apple juice colour.
Cinnamon, polish pickled cucumbers with dill, chamomile, pear juice.
After power decanting: cinnamon, pear, cumin.
Palate: chalky rice vinegar, dried cherry, apple. Light salty touch. Med low body, balanced acidity. 10.5 abv. It tastes like a lot of other natural whites, like the low alcohol and salty touch.
