am I biased? no. not so much. Robinot makes some of the most mind-altering Chenin and pineau d'aunis in the world. if you see his wines on a list, then you are lucky to have opportunity to drink them. tho, they may take 5 days to open up to you. just saying.

It smells a bit like cider and looks a lot like urine. Beyond that, this is a brilliant, totally original wine. I kept looking for reasons not to love it, but even all the "flaws" don't detract.

Age has been kind to this wine. Very savory. Acid level is still very good. This was my last bottle but this vintage still has some good years ahead of it.

One of the best wines I’ve had in a while. Cidery and almost toeing the line of bruised apple. Later morphed and really became full of stone fruit. Apricots and canned peaches. This wine is alive. Just consume it over a few hours and watch it change in the glass.
