Deep ruby color.
Aromas are too faint.
Dry. Flavors of muddled indistinguishable fruit, earth, herbs. Rich, chewy tannins.

Intensity: 3/5

Should have read the reviews first. Yes - boring and probably too young. 2016 vintage in October 2020

A simple helping of red plum and tobacco on the nose here. Further development on the palate with raspberry and some blackberry hiding in there too. This wine doesn't seem fat by any means... Fruity, yes, but also held together with a light oakiness and light tannin that quenches. The acidity paired well with the sea air and Miss Vickie's chips we enjoyed at the beach.
