Jean Paul Daumen 2016: Imagine taking a stroll through a whimsical French garden, with each sip revealing layers of flavor like a treasure hunt for your taste buds. It's as if the grapes themselves orchestrated a symphony of deliciousness in this bottle. With its charming complexity and tantalizing finish, it's an 8.9 out of 10 enchanting delight that'll have you saying "oui, s'il vous plaît" for another glass!

Ok this is really good. 12ish grapes assembled into a choir hymn. Elegant, stripped down, concentrated harmony. Purple hue with quiet aromas of blackberry and lavender and black pepper.
The volume intensifies in the mouth. Great concentration, salts, tannins, and velvety plush textures. Layers of flavors - dark plum, chocolate, leather, and coffee. And it goes on.

CdPs are pleasant in a nondescript sort of way. Liked it more as it opened up. Mostly remember faint berry and cocoa notes, nice tannins. Had with pork tenderloin in mustard pan sauce.
