Today I picked up this 2018 Domaine Jean-Maurice Raffault Chinon Rośe. 100% Cabernet Franc and just another reason why I love this grape so much.
The nose has beautiful aromas of red fruit, strawberries, red raspberry, watermelon, orange zest, melon and minerality.
On the palate is a delicious strawberry, tart grapefruit, tart raspberry, red currant, pomegranate, orange peel and a nice mineral note.
This wine is medium bodied very dry with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that lead into a clean crisp fresh finish. A very pleasing summer drinker. If other 18's from Loire are this good I will be drink my share of Loire Rośes this year. Have a safe weekend enjoying yourselfs. Nostrovia ! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
