Vieilles Vignes de Sainte Claire Chablis Chardonnay

Good Chablis villages expression. Called Sonoma County

I wanted to like this more than I did. But maybe I'm too accustomed to California Chardonnay. It just seemed a little bland in comparison.

Ripe melony fruit, fairly rich but with decent acidity, very pleasant.

So very light and clean. Best Chablis I’ve had.

Great minerality and acidity, with citrus and melon on the palate. Weighty.

Beautiful flinty minerality, grassy notes, long acid with a honey coating. Delish.

Fresh and minerally, but lacks fruit.

Fresh and intense with orange and melon flavors that have surprising weight.
