J J Confuron. Always been a producer I've been fond of. Yes, maybe a bit more forward in style, but a house I trust. First chance to try something with age, and it didn't not disappoint. Amazing earth and hen of the woods style notes. Someone called the 'sock-ey' but I wouldn't go so far. The reamed more of Mother Nature than the man who inhabits her. Would have preferred the bottle for full analysis, but a fun few ounce tastes nonetheless.
