Fritos on the nose with some hints of mushroom and shell fish. Black cherry presents itself on the palate. Pediococcus is probably the reason for the Fritos component that I just can't get past - technically flawed.

Surprisingly, completely peaked. It is rich, spicy and nutty and full bodied. Hard to believe there is no new oak on this actually. Really tasty, but time to drink up! 2009
