This is very good wine but I'm not sure I think Savagnin really wants to be blended with Chardonnay.

2009 Cuvée de Garde. 50% Chardonnay, 50% Savagnin Sous Voille for four years or more. I'm speechless. Up there with the best Sous Voile wines I've ever had. Cured leather, a touch of exotic spices, and such depth. Lingers on the palate for days.

Oxidation but but within my range of fairness. A saline flavor was the more prominent characteristic of this wine. Very nicely balanced.
