Dalla Gasperina Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

First wine sampled at the Jean Edwards Cellars tasting room in downtown Napa. Pale and clear yellow. Nose had some slight nuttiness, and tropical notes, even some hay. Sharp acidity (7/10) and a little unbalanced. Needs some time to mellow out. Light body and moderate plus finish. Some melon and heat too. Drink till 2020.

Wish we had made more of this one. Sauvignon blanc without grapefruit and the semillon adds texture and mouth.
