Medium Ruby color with red fruit and floral aromas. On the palate flavors of ripe red plum, cherry, rose petals and earthy mint. Vivid acidity, medium fine tannins, dry with a medium finish, ending with slight alcohol burn. A bigger Morgon, if you like that style!

Dark ruby purple in the glass. Inviting nose and palate of black cranberry, blackberry, and juicy licorice. Medium full body. Medium tannins (only on the finish). A cru Beaujolais that will appeal to newbies and snobs alike. Just enough fruit. Just enough “stuff.” Drink now through 2022.

I always say you have to subtract several points off a JS rating but this one you only have to subtract a couple. This is pretty though: raspberries, jammy, dry and acidic. Balanced.

Funny how my mind makes connections! Beaujolais often reminds me of Bazooka bubblegum, that makes me think of the Archie's and their hit "Sugar Sugar". Some of you will remember! 🤣
Yummy Cru Beaujolais, lovely translucent ruby, wet soil, bubblegum, crushed rocks, blackberries, watermelon rind, Bing cherry and cranberries.

This is holding up better than I expected. The nose is a little off, showing some decay until it had time to air out, and even then it wasn’t great. The palate was in good shape though with piecing acidity, still-firm tannins, and bright fruit and earth.

Fresh and pleasant Gamay. Fruity, acidic and slight tannin. Medium body and not heavy. Chill for a few minutes and perfect in hot weather.

Cherries and strawberries up front, then sour berry acidity comes in. Very light bodied and easy drinking.

Beautifully sweet and balanced. Cherry and cranberry in the nose medium bodied with a hint of earthy notes. Extremely drinkable.

Shot nose. Overall reductive feeling. Fairly structured for a Beaujolais. Nice slimy legs. Medium to full body. Garnett with a slight hint of oxidation. Got cranberry on attack, sour cherry mid palette, green walnuts in the finish.
