Gorgeous, fruity, full-bodied. Perfect for red meat like steak or lamb. LOVE this.

It's an easygoing red table wine.
The back label suggests pairing it with white meat, so don't expect a full-bodied red.
It's clearly a French wine that is produced for export (with it's California-style label promoting the Merlot varietal and not the terrain where it was grown--which is weird for any wine from France). I generally avoid a French wine that wouldn't be drunk in France, but for a casual meal or get together "give it a spin"--unless you have other more interesting options to choose from, of course.
