Feb 5th, 2015I picked up a couple of half-bottles at an auction. 22 year old is very old for a Napa Cab and a half-bottle ages much faster than a standard, so I’d normally stay away from this. But, 96 is a good vintage for ageing (according to the vintage chart) so I took the gamble. Notes of prunes, ripe black cherry, leather, a little bit of shoe polish and crushed red pepper. Tannins is soft but acidity is still there.

Dec 26th, 2018Awesome juice! Still lots of fruit. Opened up early but did not fade! Light tannins! At its peak. For 20 yr. old so good!
