This wine, dubbed the Jarvis Tomei Coloma Mother Lode Rhone Red blend, is consistent with the quality of prior Coloma label releases. Most likely some variation of GSM, it has sharp tannins, light body, and blackberry and currant flavors.

Too sweet. No complexity.

55% Syrah, 35% Grenache, and 10% Zinfandel. Fleshy black and blue fruit driven with precise musky layers on the nose. Sweet tobacco and spicy rhubarb undertones as well. More specifically, the back palate is engulfed with bitter and creamy vanilla rhubarb. You can definitely identify this is a higher elevation blend. The edgy acidity would really allow "old world" Côtes du Rhône blend lovers to embrace the Zinfandel and its unique finish. Rigid tannins from the Syrah, but the Grenache and Zinfandel really keep it in check. Fresh blend! Cheers!

Cherry color, hint of purple. This is for the Coloma red blend 2015. Not a lot of depth in the fpavor, smooth at first and then you can feel the tannins in your tongue.
